The past twelve months have been full of development, growth and achievement for team Hanhaa. With new features rolled out for ParceLive, the introduction of Symbisa to the market, a new office and many new team members it’s been a year to remember.
Below we have compiled just some of our activities across the world this year, keep scrolling to check out the highlights.

January
After manufacturing the largest batch of ParceLive trackers to date at the end of 2017 Hanhaa took delivery of these 20,000 units at the beginning of the year. Manufactured at the Jabil facility in Naples the trackers were sent to the ParceLive distribution centre in Brussels, Belgium and made ready for use in global supply chains.
February
The design and manufacture of these units was made possible by the expertise of industry leaders Avnet and TE connectivity. Their guidance enabled Hanhaa to produce the best performing product possible- check out this video to find out how we did it.

March
After two years of design and development ParceLive was now ready to hit the market on a global scale. In March and for the rest of the year we hit the road to learn more about the ways technology is impacting the logistics, attending conferences, seminars and trade shows to highlight the benefits of ParceLive. Here Hanhaa CEO Azhar Hussain speaks at the leaders in logistics event in Berlin, Germany.
April
With high levels of interest in ParceLive from North America we headed stateside to meet with customers and to begin to explore the challenges of hitting the US market. PostalVision 2020, seen right, in Washington DC was the first conference for Hanhaa in the United States.

May
With Symbisa also beginning to gain traction in the Market Hanhaa took part in the Microsoft Build showcase in Seattle, Washington. The team were on stage to demonstrate Symbisa’s innovative plugin for Microsoft Excel & Office 365 which connects live data from the field, via Symbisa’s sensors, to a spreadsheet on your desktop, phone or tablet.
June
While continuing to grow the team Hanhaa moved from our Tobacco Dock home in June to new offices on the banks of the river Thames in Vauxhall. The new space will allow the company to continue to grow, meet with partners and bring new features & services to market.

July
Highlighting the continued work being done between Hanhaa and Microsoft this video examines just how Symbisa is bringing the Internet of Things into Microsoft Office 365 like never before.
August
Over the summer months the team focused on developing and releasing new features for ParceLive including parcel orientation as well as others to be released soon. The company also focused on inputting new and scalable internal processes in place to lay the foundations for future expansion.

September
Following on from the events and conferences on the continent earlier in the year Hanhaa opened its first distribution centre for ParceLive in Chicago, USA. At the iD Commerce and Logistics warehouse trackers are received after customer use, charged, re-packaged and readied for another customer journey. The new centre will drastically increase Hanhaa’s ability to service customers in the United States.
October
As the year turned to autumn the team continued to work to bring on-board partners for the ParceLive service including global logistics leaders Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and SIS bv. ParceLive is offered as a fully white labelled solutions enabling partners to offer live data as a service to their customers.

November
At Electronica, the world’s leading electronics fair, in Munich, Germany, Hanhaa CEO Azhar Hussain discusses some of the challenges faced in logistics today with partners Avnet. This follows on from Avnet’s decision to introduce the real time tracking service to its customer base this year.
December
Amongst many other achievements this year ParceLive was certified for use aboard the fleet of four of the world’s leading airlines. This reflects the work done by the team to build and design a product that is fully compliant in all of the applicable industry standards. There will be plenty more airlines to come in 2019.
