From 26-28th September 2017 Hanhaa presented its new service based technology, ParceLive, at the international postal exhibition Post-Expo. The expo, which took place in Geneva, is one of the world’s leading events for the postal, express and mailing industry and plays host to many of the industry leaders over the three day period.
ParceLive is a real-time parcel tracking service enabled by a tracker equipped with GPS, 6 sensors and Mobile Connectivity that allows users to track the exact location, condition and security of their shipments anywhere in the world from its dispatch right up to its delivery.
Offering a unique data-driven tracking service ParceLive enables users to set specific alerts focused on information that is the most relevant to them. This includes ranges for temperature and humidity as well as alerts if a shipment has been opened or impacted regardless of the carrier or country. A unique use and return model also ensures that no additional infrastructure, technological capabilities or maintenance systems need to be put in place for use of the service.
The stand at Post-Expo offered visitors the opportunity to get a hands-on look and feel for ParceLive trackers and the kind of data they transmit via Hanhaa’s online portal. Members from the Hanhaa team were on hand at the booth to welcome nearly 300 visitors to the stand over the 3-day event. With several other trackers on the market the team were there to inform and educate visitors on the key differences that the ParceLive model of data as a service provides.
On stand Hanhaa demonstrated ParceLive’s integration with Alexa- Amazon’s intelligent electronic personal assistant. This illustrated how easily ParceLive can be connected to and integrated with existing systems allowing an even more efficient and practical use of the service. Through Alexa visitors were able to interact directly with parcels live in the field in both the United States and Europe, receiving back real time data on the condition of those shipments. The booth also displayed different packaging designs for the tracker highlighting the ability of ParceLive channel partners to brand trackers to their own unique requirements.
The excitement and enthusiasm offered by those visiting the stand served as reward for the work underway from the Hanhaa team in bringing ParceLive to the market at scale. With several of those who visited with Hanhaa at Post-Expo already engaged in the Hanhaa Partnership Launch program, a framework designed with the specific goal of creating successful Channel Partners, Hanhaa are now looking for others with a vision for innovation to join the growing ParceLive network.
