The world, they say, is getting smaller. But when talking in terms of logistics the opposite may be true, especially when it comes to creating effective cross border solutions. The number of parcels being sent around the globe is at an all-time high and with an increasing demand for speed and lack of available driver’s delivery companies are bursting at the seams. International parcel delivery is growing at twice the rate of domestic markets and with new trade deals opening up all the time the world’s borders are being freed to the incoming and outgoing movement of people and mail. But can we handle it? Are the world’s delivery companies ready to offer worldwide tracking services in line with the demand from businesses and consumers?
Last week Hanhaa conducted our own first person market research to compare the tracking information received from Parcelive and that received from the delivery companies. Several different parcels were sent to countries around the world including Spain, Germany, Czech Republic and the United States with the location data received being put into direct comparison. As the image above shows on one parcel’s journey Parcelive was able to give accurate location information a full two countries or 312 miles ahead of the information received from the carrier. While the track received from the carrier had our parcel at Stanstead Airport the data being received from Parcelive showed its true position in Liege.
This was just one parcel. But what if it was all the parcels? Giving you a live look down on the exact location of all of your shipments and not just the scan at a warehouse it was sitting in many hours ago. You may have at some point logged in to watch over a loved one as they travelled from one airport to another via the many online portals that allow you to live track planes.
Parcelive creates that same relationship but with your shipments. No matter the country, no matter the carrier, Parcelive is inside your parcel giving you all of the information that you need at whatever intervals you desire, The perfect cross border solutions.
